This week, I have a fitness app entering Beta Testing, demo made for workout group here, and i’m starting to make video guides for how to use n8n automations. If either of those are interesting to you, please follow my YouTube and reach out.
For the newsletter, I wanted to focus on Bollywood.
As Hollywood is grappling with what they're going to do with AI, Bollywood is going in the opposite direction, trying to find every possible use for AI to both improve the experience and cut down costs.
From revolutionary lip-sync technology that's fooling millions of viewers to AI-altered movie endings sparking industry-wide backlash, this week I wanted to showcase the promise and the peril of AI in entertainment. The open question is whether creators will maintain control over their art in the process.

TL;DR: Eros International used AI to rewrite the tragic ending of 2013's 'Raanjhanaa' into a happy ending without consulting the director or stars, sparking industry-wide backlash.
Key Points:
Eros changed the story from the lead character dying to now surviving using AI
The Director called it a "deeply troubling precedent"
The lead actor said it "stripped the film of its very soul"
The Big Picture: This controversy opens a potential new challenge in the age of AI. If studios can unilaterally AI-alter completed films, even classics, it establishes precedent for retrospective "fixing" of any commercially suboptimal artistic choices. Audiences and Creatives must answer the question does the original artistic vision deserve protection when AI allows “suits” to make wholesale narrative changes cheaply and easily.

Imagen | Multi-Lingual
TL;DR: NeuralGarage's VisualDub technology transformed one of Rajinikanth's song sequences into multiple multi-language versions that audiences believed were actually filmed in their language.
Key Points:
AI transforms 40+ facial muscles beyond just lip movements for authentic dubbing
Audiences assumed the song was shot in multiple languages
Maintains Imax-compatible quality across extreme close-ups, beards, and multiple angles
NeuralGarage was the first Indian company to win SXSW Entertainment category for VisualDub’s breakthrough
The Big Picture: Studios can now potentially film once and create authentic-looking versions in any language, transforming dubbed content from obvious foreign imports into what appears to be native productions. For an industry where dubbing quality determines international success, this could be the difference between overseas flop and global phenomenon.

Imagen | Hanuman Flies
TL;DR: Abundantia Entertainment and 50+ engineers are creating the India first fully AI-produced theatrical film targeting a 2026 worldwide release. "Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal"
Key Points:
First AI-generated theatrical motion picture produced in India for global theatrical release
Team of 50+ engineers from Galleri5 collaborating with cultural scholars for narrative authenticity
Soundtrack by Trilok, world's first AI-powered band blending Indian spiritual traditions with contemporary sound
The Big Picture: This film requires extensive mythology knowledge and visual spectacle that traditionally demanded massive budgets. AI is enabling Abundantia and team to potentially produce the film for a fraction of traditional costs. If successful, this model could change how culturally authentic content gets produced globally, making more local stories accessible to international audiences.
