Fei-Fei and World Labs are rolling out an an AI system that transforms a single photo into interactive 3D scenes. This is the next logical leap after AI companies have spent the past year trying to get generations based on existing photos.

The technology allows users to explore these scenes with features like adjustable depth of field, real-time effects, and dynamic lighting, directly in a web browser, making it accessible for anyone to engage with.

World Labs tech will see its biggest use for film and gaming companies as the AI should help with reducing costs and development time.

TLDR: AI used to dub a Spanish Film into English

"The Witch Game," an Argentine horror film inspired by Harry Potter, has been acquired by Miracle Media for North American and U.K. distribution, that used a unique AI-generated English dub to expand its market reach.

Traditional dubbing processes are expensive, slow, and can disrupt the natural flow of dialogue, potentially affecting the film's authenticity and appeal internationally.

By employing AI for dubbing, "The Witch Game" bypasses these issues, providing an English version that maintains the film's original pacing and authenticity, thus expanding its audience without significant additional costs.

The story centers on a teenage girl named Lourdes Mansilla, who uses a VR game to enter a world of magic and witchcraft in an attempt to rescue her family from satanic forces.

TLDR: OpenAI likely going to add Ads

OpenAI appears to want to follow Perplexity in adding ads into its models. There are not immediate plans for implementation, but OpenAI has begun making strategic hires from ad-tech giants to help them roll this out. These include Kevin Weil, from Instagram, and new VP Shivakumar Venkumar from Google.

As the cost of LLM generation continues to drops, ad supported models would provide a way for LLM providers to provide unlimited access to their platforms for free users. navigate this potential shift effectively.
